Who we are
Fingention is a dynamic company building up a highly motivated team of consultants and developers to deliver first class solutions to our clients. Our origins lie in Front Arena consulting but we have also developed our own solutions and products. While we are still a young company, we have a strong foundation in the expertise of our management that has over 15 years in the financial industry. You can read about some of our impressive success stories. We are investing heavily to augment the skill set of our consultants both using our own training program and external training providers.
Our founder
Our founder Nencho Georgiev started his career at the audit department at PwC in the beginning of the financial crisis 2007. During these turbulent times he specialized on trading, valuation and risk management topics at the PwC financial mathematics practice.
Through multiple projects at financial institutions in Frankfurt, London and New York he gained a comprehensive overview of the different processes and best practices in the industry. He then went on to work at Algorithmics (later acquired by IBM) focusing on valuation, risk and regulatory topics (Solvency II, CCR).For the last eight years he has been working on diverse Front Arena implementation projects with an impressive track record at some of the largest clients in Europe, Asia and Afrika. He is sharing his comprehensive functional and technical expertise to train the future consultants, deliver superior solutions and bundle unique extension packages and products.
Our approach
At Fingention we bring more than just technical capabilities to the table. We know how to listen to our client to understand their business needs and the motivation for the project. Oftentimes they start with just a general idea so our job is not to just implement some specification but to ask the right questions, guide into all scenarios and suggest better alternatives. We are used to working in this agile manner and we believe that that the interaction with our clients teaches us valuable lessons about market trends and best practices.
Our experience
We have worked on projects across all units at the bank from the Front Office to the Back Office, Risk and Accounting. We know the multiple facets of the Front Arena platform and we have worked on all kinds of projects from a new installation of Front Arena, through upgrades and migrations to the introduction of new features like FAccounting in an existing installation.
